Here are some opportunities and ways to help you prepare for the Celebration of Birth of our Lord
Little Blue Books - Please take one home with you to assist with your spiritual preparation each day during the Advent season.
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary - please join us on this Holy Day of Obligation at one of our Masses scheduled for 8:00 am, 12:00 Noon or 7:00 pm.
Parish Advent Retreat - join us at our Parish Advent Retreat on Saturday, December 9th from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. The day of prayer and reflection includes a gourmet lunch. Please RSVP to the church office so we can prepare adequately.
Parish Spirit of Christmas Giving Tree - help to make sure everyone has a gift to open this Christmas by helping to provide for the needy in our parish and our community. A list of agencies we are helping is on display in the narthex.
Parish Individual Confessions - Additional opportunities to celebrate the Sacrament of Penance will be offered on
December 16th and 23rd at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Area Parish Penance Services - Penance Services will be offered at the following Catholic Churches in our area:
St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Avondale, PA - , December 13th, 7:30 pm
St. Cornelius in Chadds Ford, PA - December 19th at 7:00 pm
St. Patrick in Kennett Square, PA - December 21st at 7:00 pm
Christmas Through Music and the Word - St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother December 17th at 3:00 pm
